This is my favorite time of the year so I love getting out of the house and enjoying incredible weather and fun events so I wanted to share some of the Top events in Southern Utah

Cedar Livestock & Heritage Festival (Cedar City)

October 24–26, 2025 — features a Sheep Parade, ranch rodeo, cowboy poetry, vintage car displays, quilt show, art & photography contests, etc

The Sheep Parade is a highlight: ~1,000 sheep walk down Main Street with wagons, bands, and livestock heritage displays

Brian Head Oktoberfest

Every weekend in September at Brian Head Resort — Bavarian-style celebrations with live music, food, beer, alpine ambiance, mountain views

Parowan Scarecrow Festival

All through October in Parowan — local residents and businesses make scarecrows that line the town streets. Free, whimsical, great for strolling & photos

Cedar City Pumpkin Festival
Annual community pumpkin festival in early October -
Utah Shakespeare Festival (fall season)
Though its main run is summer, the Utah Shakespeare Festival continues into fall with indoor performances and theater events in Cedar City
